In just over two years, Nailah Blackman has taken Trinidad and Tobago and the entire Caribbean by storm, and now the Sokah Princess has her eyes set on the world stage.
Nailah Blackman successfully released her brand new album ‘The Reel’ on August 23rd 2019, after months of teasing her fans about the new music she’s been working on since the success of her 10 days writing camp held in Miami earlier on this year which featured songwriters and producers from the US, UK and the Caribbean.
In ‘The Reel’, Nailah reveals another side of her personality and ventures outside of soca into other genres where she shows off her ‘real’ singing ability. The 7 track multi-genre EP (extended play) album is now available on all major streaming platforms including iTunes, Spotify and Tidal.

Her first single release ‘Sweet and Loco’, an upbeat Afro-beat fused track has already become a fan favorite, receiving great reviews and regular airplay.
Nowadays it’s even harder to keep up with the young superstar, as she been touring heavily and performing all over the world. According to her hectic tour schedule, up next she will be heading to Switzerland and Amsterdam to perform. And will also be the youngest soca artiste to perform in ‘Soca in Japan’, which is a 4-day popular soca festival that will be held in Japan from September 13th– 16th this year.
