On January 10th, just for a bit, the internet paused because Shenseea took to the mic, dissected a beat, and simply displayed why she’s in the position she’s in. On the popular “Don’t Rush” beat, staying true to herself she delivered a freestyle that eclipses the word “good”, which actually pulled the attention of the popular entertainment go-to, The Shaderoom. Some American Instagram users upon viewing from The Shaderoom’s profile quickly struck up a comparison piece between the Bad Habit singer and Queen of the Barbs, Nicki Minaj.
An Instagram user commented:
“This is giving me Nicki Minaj with jerk seasoning and I’m loving it”
“Nicki still having kids I see lol,”
“These are the sons Nikki be talking about”
Shenseea, whose outfit was complemented by a waist-length blue wig, was accompanied by Romeich Entertainment resident disc jockey, Dj Blackboy. Her performance which lasted for more than a minute and a half was met with cheers and appreciative sounds when it came to an end.
Below, you can catch Shenseea’s Don’t Rush freestyle, and her performance of Bad Habit.
Shenseea has been busy with lawsuits filed against her and in between facing serious allegations brought against her son. She also landed a deal with a big brand and got herself a dream car.
