Written by: Lesandra Scott

It sounds crazy, right? An “Online” Road March competition,  who would’ve thought?

Even though the world is still in the grips of the pandemic, Trinidad and Tobago said “hey, we’re still pouring a glass of rum” and celebrate whatever we can of the carnival season. An Online Road March competition which is a partnership between bmobile and the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO) has been launched. Opened to nationals of Trinidad, the winner will receive $100, 000 TT and will be decided by way of the song with the most votes.

To vote, if in Trinidad (the local rate is TT$2), text 7684 plus the Artist’s Code 7684 which can be found below. For international voting, text your votes to 1 (868) 798 2661 – *note that higher rates may apply for international text messages. Voting is underway and runs till 11.59 pm (Trinidad time) February 16th.
