Jah Cure, Sizzla,& Third World Aiming For Grammy’s Best Reggae Album

Written by: Charmaine Lindsay

Reggae artistes, Jah Cure, Sizzla and Third World have all officially submitted their albums for consideration for the coveted title as Best Reggae Album in the upcoming 62nd Grammy Awards. These albums have all been doing well on recent billboard reggae charts and stand a good chance of being nominated.

The Grammy Awards is the only peer-reviewed music award that recognizes artistes for their excellent work. To be considered for even a nomination is a great honor and says much about the quality of your work. Some of the requirements for consideration include, albums must have at least five different tracks and must span a total of 15 minutes or a total playing time of at least 30 minutes with no minimum track requirement. These entries are then voted on by Recording Academy’s Voting Members for nomination.

The album was released in August 2019 and has been making waves on several charts. Jah Cure has been very busy this past summer touring in the Caribbean, European, and African countries promoting the album.
