Lutan Fyah has been on fire for 2021 with his consistent songs of authentic reggae with conscious lyrics. Either as a solo act or being featured, Lutan’s distinct heartfelt outpourings are prevalent in many reggae songs this year. His music delivers a message of African unity, love, peace, and justice and is rooted in his Rastafar-I, Bobo Ashanti foundation.
Born Anthony Martin, in 1975 in Spanish Town, Jamaica, Lutan Fyah started doing music professionally in 1999 after an internship at Buju Banton’s Gargamel label where he recorded a few tracks. In 2004 he released his first solo album “Dem No Know Demself” on Minor7Flat5 followed in 2005 by “Time & Place” on Lustre Kings.
Lutan Fyah has performed in some of reggae’s biggest festivals around the globe and in over 30 countries thus far. He has collaborated with some of reggae’s current greats including Rebelution, Chronixx, Luciano, Anthony B, Sizzla, Lady G, too name a few, and has well over 200 singles and about 20 albums credited with his name.
Another artist worth mentioning in our new Reggae released list below, is Trinbagonian songstress, Annalie Prime with her unique styling and beautiful voice in ‘Set Your sight’. We will definitely be keep our eyes on her as she seems destined for big things.
