Meet Kathy-Ann Murray also known in the music industry as ‘Sure-D’, a young, talented, and passionate singer and songwriter who was born in the beautiful twin-isle of Trinidad and Tobago and raised in Canada. Sure-D, which is actually short for ‘Surely Destined’, was given to her by her uncle, Rapso artiste Jah Mortel Emortel. With years of experience in the music industry from singing in Calypso tents to guest performing at the International Soca Monarch stage, Sure-D continues to surprise fans with her versatility, consistency, and determination when it comes to her music.
Sure-D recently took time from her busy schedule to join us in ‘The E-Hub’, Caribbean Entertainment Hub’s brand new Instagram Weekly Live series, where she shared how she got started as an artiste and songwriter, how she manages her brand and business, her new music releases, coping during the pandemic and so much more.
