The Countdown For Buju Banton’s New Album Is On

The countdown  for  Buju Banton’s brand new album ‘Upside Down’ is officially on.  The album due for release on Friday 26th June 2020, will mark the Jamaican Reggae Dancehall superstar first album in 10 years, since his last album ‘Before the Dawn’ in 2010.

With high anticipation brewing for the Grammy award winner latest project following his release in December 2018. After serving seven years in the US Federal Prison, the Reggae Gargamel did not hesitate to get back to his music. From his successful tour ‘Long Walk to Freedom’ in 2019 to new music releases, collaborations and more, Buju has been keeping quite busy.

Speaking of collaborations, his new album contains 2o tracks and will feature artistes such as John Legend, Pharrell, Stephen Marley and Stefflon Don. Despite the album release being announced amidst the current global pandemic and the continued protests against racism and police brutality, fans are still highly anticipating his latest album. Buju also recently announced via social media that he will also be hosting a live listening event ‘Upside Down 2020’ on Thursday 25th June via YouTube at 11pm ET/ 10pm JA/ 8pm PT.
