Terri Lyons Retains Queen Of Queens Title

Terri Lyons of Trinidad & Tobago is once again the Calypso Queen of the Caribbean. At the 2023 Regional Female Calypso Competition held at Carnival City, Montserrat on December 30th, she successfully defended her crown defeating a diverse field of female calypsonians from across the region.

With each contestant performing two songs, Terri Lyons accumulated 820 points for her rendition of ‘House Cleaning’ and ‘Calypso’.

The Second place went to fellow Trinidadian Kerine Williams-Figaro  with 802 points for her songs ‘To You With Love’ and ‘Fruits Aint Ripe Yet.’

While Chrystal Holder of Barbados finished 3rd with 801 points for her performance of  ‘De Rescue’ and ‘Check De Scene’.

  • Valene Nedd – Grenada
  • Menell Delices – St Lucia
  • Tiffannie Skerritt – Montserrat
