Tallpree, a household name in his homeland Grenada, has reared his spiked-hair head in 2020 with an album entitled ‘Valley of Vibes’. It features 11 tracks, some of which are collaborations with other well-known artistes.
Catching up with Tallpree on a rainy Thursday, Caribbean Entertainment Hub accompanied him to Grand Etang Lake, a scenic extinct volcano in Saint Andrew Parish, Grenada. For we had decided that Grand Etang Lake would be a picturesque place to talk all things ‘Valley of Vibes’. After a Forty-five minutes’ drive, we’re at the lake. With cameras set and everyone in their places, the hearty chat began!
Tallpree, who has been on the music scene for over twenty years, goes into detail about why he chose to team up with Carriacou-based, Xpert Productions for ‘Valley of Vibes’. More so, he explained what it was like to bring the album to life. Throughout the interview, Tallpree extended high praises to Xpert Productions. Given the quality of the body of work, it is pretty easy to see why. Tallpree also revealed his love and passion for things other than music.
Deep in talk and oblivious to the passage of time and the changing weather, the afternoon showers became a deluge. It signaled the end to our chat but not before the topic of videos was touched. To which Tallpree divulged that several songs on the album will be granted accompanying visuals.
Valley of Vibes is Tallpree’s latest body of work and has been made available on all musical platforms. The full interview is accessible below.
