Written by: Nekisha Neicy Cyrus

Hailing from St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Joel Tyril well known by his stage name ‘Dynamite’ burst onto the soca scene in 2015 with his massive hit ‘Brave’. Since then, he has been successfully making a name for himself as an artiste, songwriter, and now producer. Not limiting himself to any one genre of music, he has since released a variety of singles including Reggae and Dancehall music.

Dynamite recently joined us, kicking off Season (2) of the ‘The E-Hub’, Caribbean Entertainment Hub’s new Instagram Weekly Live series, where he shared how he got started in music, his experience having a massive soca single, what it is like as a producer and how he has been coping after the catastrophic La Soufrière volcano eruption earlier this year. Check out his full interview below!

With new music already released and many more projects on the way, his latest singles ‘Mamacita’, ‘Vicitimization’, ‘Live my Dreams’ and ‘Your Love’ are definitely showcasing his versatility as a songwriter and producer to the world.  Check it out below and let us know in the comments!

To stay connected with Dynamite and his new music, be sure to follow him on Instagram and subscribe to his YouTube channel for new music.
