The interview which aired on June 13th reached some 3.3million listeners and afforded Preppy the opportunity to promote her recently released album, “The Art Of Flex” and her upcoming event; “Gyallery.”
The candid conversation between Preppy and Konders provided listeners with a birds-eye view of Preppy’s career and accomplishments. While discussing some of her career-defining singles such as ‘Tingo’, ‘Issa Snack’ and ‘Splash’ (with Patrice Roberts), she also utilized the opportunity to share insightful information about Trinidad and Tobago’s culture and music. She shared her love not only for Soca but TriniBad which is represented on her album in ‘So High’ (Boy Boy and London Future) and ‘Dollars’ (Prince Swanny).
Nessa’s upcoming event in NYC titled “Gyallery” is scheduled for July 17th. While Nessa is excited about her recent interview and upcoming event she is extremely focused on creating music. She is in full preparation mode for releases that begin this summer which also includes Soca. A second album is also in the works.
