Written by: Nekisha 'Neicy' Cyrus

Meet one of Trinidad and Tobago’s newest star on the rise, nine-year-old Zachary Ransome with his first ever soca parang release and music video titled ‘First In D Kitchen’.

Anyone who grew up in Trinidad and Tobago could relate to the lyrics of this song as it will surely bring back memories of Christmas and the allure of a Trini Christmas kitchen filled with so many tasty and delicious eats and drinks (see full featured music video).

The song was written by Prince Unique who hails from Tobago and produced by Junior Ibo Joseph. The music video was shot and directed by Jadee. And it seems like another first is in the making as Zachary is also preparing to release his very first soca track in 2023, so stay tuned.

Zachary who confidently started singing at the tender age of four years old has already accomplished a lot musically in such a short time. He is currently the reigning Virtual Primary School Calypso Champion and has performed in many prestige events and stages in and around the calypso & soca fraternity.
