It seems like Christopher Martin is all set for Valentine’s Day complements of his new track, “Come Closer To Me”. Described as a ‘contagious and catchy song for the ladies’, “Come Closer To Me” is a fusion of reggae and pop which happens to be the artiste’s first single for 2022.
The visuals for the single was shot in Jamaica, Kingston to be exact. While the song’s production was handled by Madstorm Production, the creative direction of the visuals was directed by production company “Filmaica”’s employees Samo Kush-I and Fernando Fernandez.
The visuals show Christopher Martin and his love interest’s story detailed in every scene. Among the different shots, included is a party scene and a nature-friendly guesthouse that was both chic and attractive with a contemporary design which all indication nod to it being shared by the very much-in-love duo. The camera followed the crooner and his lady from the point of them seeing each other for the first time, to them evidently more than friends.
Since being released on January 7th, Come Closer To Me sits at over 17k views. With a dancing cameo by Beenie Man’s daughter, Desha, popularly known as Desha Ravers who is a part of Ding Dong’s dancing crew, Ravers Clavers, she can be seen in a blonde bob style wig and a black ensemble in the party scene.
Caribbean Entertainment Hub went along and curated a playlist of ten recent reggae releases. Catch the groovy list below starting with Martin’s recent number, Come Closer To Me.
