Socially conscious Reggae artist, Bugle has once again produced a lyrical gem of a song with his recently released single ‘Dutty Foot Can’t Step Clean’ which seems destined to take the artist to another level. Born Ray Thompson, Bugle has been creating hits since 2007, with ‘Rise gain, and ‘Anointed’ being the most recognizable from his extensive catalog.
In “Dutty Foot Can’t Step Clean”, Bugle sings:
“Life has all kind of people
Some clean some dutty
But don’t waste your time for nuff ah dem not worthy
Dutty foot can’t step clean
Straight mind don’t think lean
Life gotta lot of choices chose who you wanna be”
Another track worth mentioning is ‘Sun And The Moon’.
Though this is not their first collaboration, the merging of the talent of Stick Figure’s guitarist, Johnny Cosmic with the visionary creativity of top reggae producer and vocalist Collie Buddz has produced a masterful musical piece of mystical wonderment. Their newly released single, ‘Sun And The Moon’, takes one on a musical journey into outer space. Its hollow laid-back rhythm and the interspersing of synthesized sounds throughout the piece give the feeling of sailing amount the stars.
