Antigua and Barbuda Soca Queen, Claudette Peters is giving us a taste of what we all need in her latest groovy soca release ‘Need It’.
According to the soca diva, the bass and melody are part of her therapy, and when it comes to soca music we can all relate. Claudette Peters is surely no stranger when it comes to the soca scene. This soulful soca singer has to her name multiple Jumpy and Groovy Party Monarch crowns, which she won from the annual Antigua Carnival’s Party Monarch Competitions, and was also the lead vocalist for the Taxik Band.
Over the years, Claudette has given us quite a few soca anthems including one of the Caribbean’s well-loved soca classics ‘Something Got A Hold On Me’ which was released in 2002.
Today, still doing what she loves and keeping those soulful soca releases coming, Claudette teams up with composers/writers Dale Ryan, Emmanuel Rudder & Cherrod Lewis for her latest release ‘Need It’. Take a listen below and let us know if you are feeling the vibes.
