‘Cuz if yuh ready tuh fete, just call meh name

Ready tuh party, call meh name

Carnival, yes it comin back again’

Lyrics from the brand-new 2023 soca release ‘Forever’ from the award-winning soca and calypso young superstar Aaron Duncan. Since the tender age of (3) years old, Aaron has been performing and winning the hearts of many, at age 19 years he has already solidify his place in the fabric of Trinidad and Tobago’s culture while continuing to soar higher. With popular releases such as ‘Born Ready’, ‘Can You Feel It’, ‘Back to Basics’, ‘Caught Up’, ‘Double Trouble’, ‘Stay’ and many more, Aaron just keeps those hits coming.

As Trinidad and Tobago gears up for their official return of Carnival in all its splendor, Aaron has already released three  tracks along with music visuals. The first ‘Forever’ (see featured video) was released on September 2nd, 2022, was written by Aaron and produced by XplicitMevon. The second ‘Freeze’ (see below) was released on September 21st, 2022 and written by Kit Israel and Aaron Duncan; and produced by AdvoKit Productions.

And the third which was an amazing surprise collab, features the Calypso King of the world, The Mighty Sparrow titled ‘Legacy’. The track was written and produced by Aaron Duncan, mixed by Leston Paul and Precision productions and mastered by Precision productions.

When it comes to his calypso music, Aaron is still very much active. The young calypsonian recently placed second in the Independence Calypso Monarch Competition after finally being able to return to the calypso stage. To stay updated with Aaron Duncan, be sure to follow him on Instagram.
