Streamed Live on December 11th was a virtual performance by Jamaica’s very own Koffee in collaboration with American food ordering and delivery service giant, Grubhub.
With a blast, her set took off! Locs piled atop her head she delivered performances of her tracks with the same intensity and delivery we’ve grown to expect from her.
Decked out in a white t-shirt and a pair of pants in her favorite color red, Koffee was surrounded by her band, and together, they first dove into her favorite song off her EP, Rapture. The now 20-year-old has been blazing her path in the music industry for 3 years and has under her belt a Grammy Award. Songs that were performed before the live Q&A include “Burning”, “Pressure”, “Ragamuffin”, “W” with the set closing with “Lockdown”.
Revealing that an album is on its way, she also answered the question of a collaboration between her and mainstream Guyanese American artiste Saint Jhn, who spent 4 years on the charts with his single Roses, to which she said she is hopeful. As for how she’s kept it going through this pandemic, she throws thanks on staying close to God, meditation, and music.
