On how he feels about new management, lead singer Kees Dieffenthaller admitted feeling thrilled to work with Vogel and DeGraff who he sees as visionaries. In his own words, “We are evolving and wanted to partner with a new team that shares our vision. We’re excited about the opportunity for expansion and are thankful for the support of new management and our fans to help us reach these new heights.”
Speaking of new heights, a new market is being explored in Trinidad. Targeted towards children, is a video containing a medley of popular soca songs. The video, ‘Soca Kidz Carnival Party: Vol 1’ features children of different ages gleefully singing and enjoying the infectious music of soca, was produced by Kasey Phillips of Precision Productions and Kit Israel of AdvoKit Productions.
“Children bring laughter and fun to everything they are a part of. Just watching them enjoy life, and especially music, fills our hearts with joy. It is time to give them the chance to add their youthful energy to songs we all know and already love, letting them fill our local Soca music with their brand of happiness.” This is the inspiration behind Soca Kidz, according to the description accompanying the video.
Onboard for this project have been Machel Montano, Preedy, Voice, Destra, Kes The Band, Olatunji, and Farmer Nappy just to name a few.
