Julian Marley & Nailah Blackman To perform for Africa Rise 2020’s Media Launch

With its prelaunch held on January 11th, Africa Rise 2020 is set to be held on January 16th! Taking the virtual stage on launch night are Julian Marley, Nailah Blackman, and some of South Africa’s top artistes such as the singer of the viral song “Jerusalema” Master KG, Oumou Sangare, Saifond Balde, Bebe Baye, Mac Mudday, Makhadzi, Nomcebo Zikode, Zanda Zakuza, Ella Efundem Njie.

Africa Rise 2020 which is slated for a three-hour broadcast will be hosted by Doug E. Fresh and will be broadcasted live via Viacom Inc, the official media partner for the event. It will feature performances and public service announcements by musicians, sports personalities, world leaders, prominent public figures, and healthcare workers from all over the planet. The aim is to raise funds to purchase mobile clinics, and to bring a much-needed upgrade to the healthcare infrastructure in rural Africa.
