Fresh from their GRAMMY triumph for Best Reggae Album, globally acclaimed artist Julian Marley and producer and co-writer Antaeus have premiered a dynamic music video for their newest single “Made For Your Love” via Monom Records. Infused with Dancehall vibes, this track is a standout on the award-winning album Colors of Royal. Directed by the innovative filmmaker IceyJace, the video seamlessly captures the track’s energy, boasting vibrant visuals and lively rhythms against the backdrop of Miami Beach, Florida
A sultry rhythm guitar and a dancehall beat blend with romantic lyrics to evoke a feeling of intimacy and connection. Lines like “Your love was made for my love, your feel was made for my touch” beautifully express the passionate attraction and harmony between partners. This track has organically become the album’s fastest-growing hit.
” ‘Made For Your Love’ and the rest of the album is all about artistic freedom and exploration,” says Julian. “We wanted to create something that was both true to reggae music and also pushed the envelope, and I think we’ve achieved that with ‘Colors of Royal.’ It’s a journey through sound and color.”
Antaeus added, “This project has been about Julian’s immense talent, meeting a fresh production. We brought Julian into new musical territories, incorporating Reggae, Dancehall, Reggaeton, and Afrobeats, and it paid off. We worked hard, we explored fresh approaches to Reggae, and we were rewarded with a Grammy nomination.”
