Guyanese Top Producer Joel Browne releases brand new ‘Small Days Riddim’.

Joel Browne is a former military officer and commercial pilot who launched his production company in 2016. Since then, some of his credits includes some of the Caribbean Top Artistes such as Dexta Daps, Beenie Man, Tarrus Riley, and Spice, just to name a few.

From a tender age of (9) years old, Joel was always in love with music after getting a mini piano as a present from his father. As a member and keyboardist of his Dad’s church he was able to hone his musical gift. Joel at a young age wanted to be a Doctor but found his real love was music and aviation, so after graduation high school he perused both careers. During his time in flight school he would play at church part time in the Metro Atlanta area while flying and still finding time for music. It was during his time in Atlanta that he learned the Southern Hip- Hop sound of the early 2000’s that helped to shape his musical ear as well as the Baptist music he would hear at his Sunday gigs. With the ability to learn quickly Joel was able to fuse the music he learnt from his home country Guyana and fuse it with those sounds he was exposed to in Atlanta Georgia.

Today, Joel is happily married to his wife Dr. Judy Browne and they have two beautiful children together. They also own a family clinic and run a few other businesses together. Driven by a desire to bring great music to his country and to support his father in business he resigned from the military as a pilot and pursued his music career. He is responsible for working on many projects for the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sport, and the Ministry of Education in Guyana.

With a mission and movement to put Guyana on the map musically, Joel has been expanding his catalog and production brand recently launching his new riddim, titled the ‘Small Days’ Riddim’. The radio friendly riddim was produced at the Joey2kool Productions Studios in Georgetown. With this riddim, Joel was influenced by his childhood music and he wanted to take things back to his roots in 2022.
