Chinese Kitty is, by all means, a catastrophic megastar with over 2 million Instagram followers Chinese kitty is an inescapable phenomenon. She is a rapper, Instagram model reality television star, and a mother to a toddler son. Known for her unabashed approach discussing to speaking her truth including things usually viewed as personal such as her experience with plastic surgery. The multi-talented megastar has Guyanese linage and has managed to build a brand based on authenticity and relatability.
Born Taylor Hing, Chinese kitty began her career as a model. She would model for magazines such as Smooth, Shygirl, Dynasty, and Model Model she also appeared in many music videos for stars such as Fabolous, Ludacris, T.I., Young Dolph, PnB Rock, and Verse Simmonds. It was appearing alongside her mother, Chinese Niki on Love & Hip Hop Miami reality Television show that her career really exploded. She and her mother’s ongoing feud with costar Shay Johnson made for some high drama television that seemingly satisfied the reality television’s audience’s insatiable appetite for drama.
Via the platform she was afforded thanks to her stint on Love n Hip Hop Miami and her social media fame, Chinese Kitty launched her rap career. Her debut music video for her song ‘on me’ was released in May 2018 to much fanfare and from there it has been a meteoric rise for the megastar. A string of commercially successful hits followed included collaborations with major artistes such as Lil Yachty, Lill Baby, and Cuban doll. She has since gone on to perform on major stages including the highly acclaimed Rolling loud stage.
