With Spotify’s recent decision to expand its service to 85 new markets including the Caribbean, We at Caribbean Entertainment hub will now be using the streaming giant in our relentless effort to promoting Caribbean music to the world.
Spotify has a massive catalog of music and uses algorithms to automatically create playlists to suit one’s listening style. For those new to Spotify, you will have to signup either for the free or premium service. The premium is ad-free while with the free service you will have to live with some ads. With many soca, dancehall, reggae, and chutney artistes already on Spotify, Caribbean people now have another way to access their favorite music.
Since Spotify’s algorithms do not always get playlists for Caribbean music right, Caribbean Entertainment Hub has created a Profile on Spotify with carefully selected music that can be easily accessed here. If you like our music selection, we asked that you please like and share our profile, playlist, and the individual songs that appeal to you. In this way, the artistes will receive more plays and recommendations increasing their revenue and spreading their music.
Since our inception, the Hub has been attempting to promote the best of Caribbean music; songs with good lyrics accompanied by beautifully arranged music. With this in mind, we have curated, as a start, 4 playlists to push our brand of music and to help you easily access some of the finest new Caribbean music for 2021.
As we build our Spotify Profile, CEH looks forward to your suggestions, and comments and will greatly appreciate your support. Please use the form on our contact page or message us on FaceBook if you have any recommendations. Stay tuned as we add more playlists to our profile and update the existing ones with new music.
