Bunji Garlin & Fay Ann Lyons Make Movie Debut

Our favorite soca power couple, Bunji Garlin and Fay Ann Lyons, is set to make their movie debut in the new Romany Malco’s movie ‘Tijuana Jackson, Purpose over Prison’. The movie will be released on Friday 31st July 2020 and will be available on iTunes, Amazon, Vudu and Google Play.

After being contacted by Romany in 2017 to be casted in the film,  Bunji Garlin and Fay Ann Lyons flew to Los Angeles to film for one week. In the movie, Bunji plays Jackson’s (Malco) best friend in prison who supports him in everything he is doing. Fay Ann who did not have a speaking role played an officer in the prison dog reform programme, where they used dogs to rehabilitate prisoners.

Tijuana Jackson, Purpose over Prison’  was written and directed by Romany Malco, an American actor with Trinidadian parentage known for his roles in movies such as ‘Think like a Man’, ’40-year-Old Virgin’, ‘Almost Christmas’, ‘Night School’ and many more. The movie is about a man (Romany Malco) who is determined to move beyond his checkered past and achieve his ambition of becoming a world renowned motivational speaker.

 

 

Fay Ann said that the experience helped them to appreciate the film making process and that she is very excited to see the entire film. Bunji, via an Instagram post, shared  that when they landed the roles in the movie, they did not anticipated the ride they were in for, but it was a lot of love and fun and they enjoyed it immensely.
