CEH March 2021 New Soca Releases: Spotlights St. Vincent’s ‘Magikal’

Written by: Nekisha Cyrus

And the soca magic continues throughout the Caribbean isles.

Up next, we head to St. Vincent for our March New Soca Spotlight Artiste, Derron Rouse, who goes by the stage name “Magikal” with his brand-new soca release ‘Problem’.

Chanting ‘We Don’t Want No Virtual Thing’, this catchy and energetic soca track is causing some serious problems as we head into the Jab Jab route of the soca train. Magikal who is no stranger to the Vincy soca scene, got his big breakthrough when he won the 2019 Vincy Soca Monarch title with his soca track called ‘Bloody Hell Crazy’.

His latest soca contribution ‘Problem’ was written and composed by himself, produced by Stupid Dog Entertainment, and Mastered by Powa Mastering. The music video credits also goes to  Nexmedia Entertainment (see featured video).

To stay updated with the infectious talent that is Magikal you can connect with him here.
